RE: Guitar MIDI pickups

I haven't got a clue as to what you actually have there but, pickups don't
put out MIDI notes they need a convertor between them and the MIDI sound
module. Does this pickup have an audio to MIDI note converter with it?
I might suggest you visit this particular Yahoo group
http://launch.groups.yahoo.com/group/midiguitar/ maybe someone there knows
more about this unit you have. The fellow that moderates that group has a
useful website too http://www.midiguitar.net

What I'm hoping to find is one with a standard 5-pin midi out so that i can
just run it into my Mac and use the software synths I have on there. The
Roland stuff uses a 13-pin thing, I believe...

Thanks for the help!
Mike
