I think the more options you have the less creative you are. When I had just a dearly loved Jamman I used it to death and created some really great music with it. Now that I have a stereo pair of fully loaded EDPs I hardly find myself using them. I used to create great tracks with just one simple sampling keyboard, a Jamman and some FX... I ought to get rid of some stuff, I guess 8-). Like Brian Eno once said, it´s limitations that force you to be creative. and like a friend of mine once said, make music with what you have, not with what you´d like to have. You sure have some friends who´d borrow you some equipment, even if it´s no Chapman stick, no Warr TSG and no what-have-you 8-). A good musician could even get something decently musical out of a comb 8-). Stephen. "I´m striving for the mysterious. The obvious doesn´t interest me."
