no,

the dry signal isn't controllable in this way.

So I guess that the audience doesn't hear your source material,
just the loops?
In which case what you suggest would be a useful feature.

How about using Stutter Mode
Loop/Delay = Stu

then you at least wouldn't get a gap.

If you use a pedal for feedback , then turn the front panel feedback 
control to
zero the material you here from the loop during the insert won't go 
into the loop.
(if you don't need to control the regular feedback, then you can just 
put a jack
into the feedback socket)

Not the exact effect you asked, but fairly close.


Otherwise (as we discussed at Zurich Loopfest):-

Quantise = 8th
8th/cycle = 8, or whatever you like
Insert = SUB

will set things up so that a quick tap of Insert will
put a rhythmically accurate chunk of source material into your loop
(it won't be heard till the loop comes round though)
