This is why I created a 1 sheet pamplet on "What is Real-Time Looping" which I stack on a counter in the venue..and tell folks they can take one to understand what I am doing. I break down looping into a simple analogy involving several tape recorders and their tape cut and merged into a loop to build a series of audio loops, etc, etc. I provide pictures of my EDPs, the foot controller, etc...and then describe my version of free improv in this context.
