DL-4 Question

Using a 25k Ernie Ball pedal in place of the 10k EX-1 Line6 expression 
pedal
would basically mean there would be a portion of the pedal's travel that 
had
no effect, right? Obviously the 250k pedals don't work for most of their
travel (I tried)...but has anyone tried a 25k pedal? What can I expect?
