My Audiomulch setup (which is pretty similar to yours) uses an Edirol
UA-5 (also USB1.1 like your m100fx) on an Athlon64, and my numbers are
identical with yours to the last sample: 144 samples.

I use a Mark of the Unicorn (see Eric/Suit, I do listen) 896HD
FireWire interface on my Mac (a dual 2.5GHz G5), and that's rock solid
with Logic at 64 samples (at 192kHz, though I normally run it at
96kHz).
