I wouldn't be quick to blame the mixer. Gain staging. That is probably your issue. Or else one of your devices is too noisy. -- Sarth -----Original Message----- From: Louis Rossi [mailto:tarbit@hotmail.com] Sent: Monday, January 30, 2006 11:29 AM To: Loopers-Delight@loopers-delight.com Subject: Mixer for Looping duo Hi folks, I have an improv duo which is touch gtr & voice. We have been using a eurorack to share a looper but we've had some noise problems. Can someone suggest an alternate mixer please? It's simple setup: Channel 1: vocal mic into multi effects Channel 2: gtr, pedals, (need to find a good DI with speaker simulator too) Channel 3: EDP (from efx send 1) (we might throw a lexicon reverb in efx 2 in the near future but we like spareness right now) Thanks Lou >From: Warren Sirota <wsirota@wsdesigns.com> >Reply-To: Loopers-Delight@loopers-delight.com >To: Loopers-Delight@loopers-delight.com >Subject: RE: Looperlative Too Expensive? >Date: Mon, 30 Jan 2006 11:01:50 -0500 > > > > I'm curious to know how some of these multi-track looper > > products (both > > hardware and software) and their respective developers are > > dealing with > > those patents. Searching that patent office for "Perille" yields nothing, searching >for "Loop" yields over 300,000 results, and searching for "multitrack AND >loop" gives 179 with no obvious titles relating to our subject. >
