I did use a Multiface from RME, very high quality, but no Mic preamps.
Since my 15" Powerbook was stolen I was forced to switch to a 12"
Powerbook, I ran it with an old 828 and with a Quatafire 610. The
Quatafire I really love, decent quality for the price (of course not the
same as the Multiface, but for live its definitely good enough). Big
advantage: its bus powered and has 2 Midi ins and outs, and is the
smallest interface available, fits in your pocket. Recommended...
