Thanks for the tip, Stefan. Your info led me to this website: http://digitalaudioworks.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWCATS&Category=129 It shows the Indigo PCMCIA cards, but the RME card too. I think PCMCIA route is the best for me...I'd rather not have an extra device attached to my notebook. Hence, what I have now for PCMCIA options are: 1. SoundBlaster Audigy 2 ZS Notebook - http://www.creative.com/products/product.asp?category=1&subcategory=204&product=10769 - $100 2. Echo IO http://www.echoaudio.com/Products/CardBus/IndigoIO/index.php - $200 3. Echo DJ - http://www.echoaudio.com/Products/CardBus/IndigoDJ/index.php - $200 4. RME Hammerfall HDSP Laptop Cardbus - http://www.rme-audio.com/english/hdsp/cardpci.htm#CARDBUS - $299 I definitely won't be buying the Soundblaster again....even though the quality is great for what I'm using it now, I don't like the fact that it completely disables your notebooks current soundcard. With this new ThinkPad T60p I just bought, it has Intel's High Definition Audio built into the chipset. I am really curious how or if I'll be able to take advantage of this with one of the above options.
