Good analogy, and good point. Having only the loop track is a current 
artifact of the setup: I don't have a room mic set up, so the samples 
above are lacking the tuba soloing over the loop layers.

That's because I'd forgotten about him, or I'd have mentioned him in my 
first post. My bad, much obliged for reminding me. Thanks! (Hmm, samples 
on website sound cool. Should buy.)
