Rainer- You could just use a wireless keyboard. Maybe larger than you would prefer, but zero learning curve or programming, and very inexpensive. I'm not sure what the distance limitations are. Perhaps some application (for XP of course ;) which would react to bluetooth messages and translate them into MIDI, which could then control your application via MIDI yoke or something... ...and then you'd need a java application for your phone.
