Ok. I started a very intimate gig by playing a heavy bass line on  
flute through a bass box. When it was grooving nicely, after some  
twenty seconds, I kicked Record and prepared to kick Record a second  
time two bars later and catch the first loop to build on. But I never  
got that far. The concert stopped right there with the PA system  
slamming away FWAH-FWAH-FWAH-FWAH-FWAH-FWAH-FWAH-FWAH-FWAH-FWAH-FWAH- 
FWAH-FWAH-FWAH-FWAH-FWAH-FWAH-FWAH-FWAH-FWAH-FWAH...

I had forgotten to change the Record Mode to "toggle" instead of  
"sustain". stupid me.
