Actually, looking at the Boomerang site, they may be MIDI-style DIN-5 connectors in actuality. The drawing for the rear panel shows six connectors, but the photo of their Chorus/Delay pedal shows DIN-5, and the manual for that pedal specifies that MIDI cables may be used to connect the new series of Boomerang pedals so that preset changes on one are transmitted to other pedals. But it sounds like you shouldn't expect MIDI functionality from those ports: "Pedal Link™ System This and other dual function Boomerang(R) pedals can be linked using an optional Boomerang(R) Pedal Link™ cable so that storing or recalling a preset on one will store or recall it on all pedals. Two or more Boomerang(R) pedals can be linked to form a complete effects system using the two identical Pedal Link™ connectors on the rear panel. NOTE – The Pedal Link™ connectors are not MIDI connectors… exactly."
