I don't use a FCB1010 but a FC-300 and a LP1 (1.34d). You can be sure the 
LP1 works perfect when keep in mind though that the LP1 has been designed 
to respond to toggle style button (midi triggers). Your controller should 
send a CC message when the button is pushed down and it should send 
another CC message when the button is released. Latched mode is not 
supported which means the LED of your control pedal should be off. You can 
also send a progam change message.

The best thing you can do is using Midi-Ox to figure what midi data your 
FCB is sending.
