Per, thanks for you tips. I've now a setup running with Mainstage slaved
to an external tap tempo pedal. Augustus is slaved to Mainstage with the
preference Midi output set to off. Now, Mainstage patches are connected
to output 3-4 and Augustus is installed as an insert FX on output 3-4.
So it is indeed possible to setup a global looper. I could play for 30
minutes without a single hickup, switch patches, control the LP1 (which
was also synced to Mainstage), it has been very stable :)
