Re: RC-50 (was Boss looper contest in Germany)

Yes, that´s a good idea. The RC-50 also has a fade-in and -out option for
the several prhases/loops.
The problem is you have to do lots of switch ins and outs.
And it does not work this way when just switching from one loop to the
other.
But Sjaaks suggestion to work with a pre-delay may also be a workable
solution. I could set my DD-20 before the RC 50.
Fading out manually with an expression pedal, as Buzap says, is another
good
idea.
Thanks guys!

You don't have to do it that way, if the abrupt switch doesn't fit
with your music. Use a looper that allows several parallel loops and
make the transit from one loop to the other with volume fades. Loop A
as fade-out and Loop B as fade-in makes a nice crossfade transition
from A to B. This can be done on the LP-1 or a software looper like
SooperLooper or Mobius. Besides that, Mobius also offers the EDP style
of abrupt loop shifting.
