 This is my new best friend, this compressor is every bit the pedal the keeley is but quiter like the carl martin ( I currently own all three) and cheaper than both, tiny so you can leave it on  and tuck it somwhere un-obtrusive. the grit control is a bit fizzy for me but works well as a spice when using another overdrive pedal, or when maxed with the sustain maxed.  which combines their compressor and a fully functioning ADSR with expression pedal ports for swell and fade variation, has anyone discussed this before? 

 I was wondering when someone would create a pedal like this, but then I probably haven't been paying really close attention.

I just got a Philosopher's Tone. I'm still figuring out how to set it so that it's useful but doesn't destroy dynamics. But my brief playing with it left me reasonably happy. (Not as happy as the MXR Stereo Tremolo has made me recently.) So count this as a tentative additional endorsement.

One weird thing: The jacks on it do not get along with the plugs from the Planet Waves Cable Station kit. I've been able to get other cables to work, but I'm going to have to figure out a real solution when it finds a spot on my pedal board.
