Set-Up

I sometimes worry I spend more time envisioning the perfect rig,
cases, projection system, etc than I do actually playing, but I'm
going to ask this anyway.

It seems that the amount of gear I want to have available to play out
with just keeps growing; between laptops, projectors, hardware and
instruments, its become a lot of stuff to travel with and actually
have usefully available for performance.

So with that in mind, what are the solutions people have come up with
for traveling and performing with a large variety of gear?

I'm looking toward the most compact and easy to set up kind of tips
so, anybody feeling like bragging about or sharing their solutions?
