I was going to purchse another Mac shortly (an iMac w/1 TB storage, 4 GB memory) to use with Logic, Reason and other software. However, I looked at the specs of the Mac Mini Server with the faster CPU, two internal 500GB 7400 rpm discs. Would this be a good music production machine? I know one has to purchase an optical drive, mouse & keyboard (I have a new monitor that should work ok). When I perused the net, I saw a few folks were running Logic with the Mac Mini server. There were some configuration issues that were mentioned and that can be worked out. Should I stick with the iMac or consider the performance boost with the Mac Mini Server? THX!
