Kevin, If you're dedicating the iPad to music work only, 16 GB may very well be enough. I took that approach with my iPod Touch, dedicated it to JUST music apps and I'm doing okay on space. I went whole hog and bought a 64 GB, but I'm in a situation of having to use it for both work purposes and for music (which is why I'm seriously considering a second iPad that I can dedicate for one use only — thinking 16-32GB). Right now, I have 131 apps on the 64GB iPad and it's taking up 7.2 GB … so there's still TONS of space. I try NOT to keep any production audio files on it, there's only a little music on it. Mostly, when I'm using it for music, I run the outputs to a recorder. Let me know if you need anymore details. (And anyone else who is interested!)
