Perhaps I should try to use it. I love my RC50 but I have a very "meat and 
potatoes" setup. Sometimes I will use my iPhone in my aux input and sample 
an opening drumbeat (ie When The Levee Breaks at my 
http://hankzeppelin.com ). 
Is the DR880 a drum machine?  I prefer to make my own drum sounds by 
slapping my banjo.
