Is the DR880 a drum machine? 

Since it also includes bass sounds, I think they prefer to call it a "rhythm machine", but, yes, that's basically what it is.

I can't decide if I want to make my own tracks in Live and then trigger them with the RC-50 or use the Dr. 880. 

Is anyone using Live with the RC-50?
