Quite obviously it gets outdated as new hardware/software emerges.I have the impression there is almost too much to cover to keep the chart convenient, as beyond dedicated loopers (Vox VDL-1, Line 6 JM4 Looper, Akai E1/E2 Head rush) there are many devices with thrown in looper (TC Helicon VoiceLive Touch, Boss GT-10, Casio XW-G1, Vox DelayLab, Pigtronix Echolution, Digitech TimeBender, Strymon TimeLine, Roland MC-09, Korg Kaossilator Pro, and many more). Moreover any delay unit with enough delay time (4 seconds?) can be practically used as a looper. Despite this I encourage you Per to update this, let me repeat it (!), excellent chart.
As for the chart page I miss a bit glossary which could be useful not only for newbies, with categories like:
"Basic functions" - Overdub, Undo/Redo, Feedback,... "Playback control" - Reverse, Half-speed, Retrigger,..."Advanced loop-fx" - Multiply,Time stretch, Replace, Scramble,... (loop manipulation that is _practically_ possible only within the looper)
"Sync", etc. Regards, Michał
Gosh, I don't know how I missed this great resource. Thanks Per, for doing such an wonderful job of spreadsheeting both hardware and software live loopers. Here is the URL. It took me a little while to find it on the page (at the bottom)http://www.looproom.com/looperchart.php Right off the bat, I can see that it can be updated withBoss RC300, the new Pigronix looper (soon to be released) and the LP-2 mini looper. Are there other devices not mentioned here? r.w. .
