Okay … I just upgraded to Mountain Lion about a week ago and hadn't had a chance to run Reaper (I don't own Logic and I have the lite version of Ableton which I rarely use). At first, Reaper wouldn't load and I had the good sense to check for an update. Sure enough, there WAS an update dated this past August. Downloaded, installed, fired both the 32-bit and 64-bit versions with impunity. Mark, double check that you have the latest version of Reaper. Can't help you with the others, though … Best from #thelastfrontier, Dennis http://soundcloud.com/usrsbin http://audiozoloft.com http://usrslashsbin.angrek.com/ On Sat, Oct 6, 2012 at 11:43 AM, mark francombe <mark@markfrancombe.com> wrote: > The question is all in the subject really. > Since installing Mountain Lion last week I've had no end of trouble with > ALL > my music applications, except Logic. > Adobe Audition fires up loads a file, then doesn't play. > Soundtrack Pro, has some weird routine with the Open dilog, where I cant > get > it to go away, therfore cant play. > Reaper doesn't open at all, says its "building interface, and top menu is > there, but no window. > > > Nothing appears to be related to soundcard issues or drivers, more like > interface issues, but what can the installing of an OS do to that?
