9:00 . dreamSTATE with BEN GROSSMAN + HUGH MARSH . Both
Jamie and Scott of dreamSTATE have long wanted to perform
with Ben Grossman so the Drone Cycle brings them the perfect
opportunity as what better than hurdy gurdy and electronics
to develop a deep resonating and mind-altering drone in D#. To
make the 10th drone even more memorable, Ben has invited
renowned violinist Hugh Marsh to join in on the fun by adding his
vibrating strings and electronics to create a truly dimensional drone
which will spread like a sonic fog floating out into the night air.

10:00 . hugh marsh (violin and electronics) and ben grossman
(hurdy gurdy and electronics) . having spent years playing together
in various bands, hatching their evil plans on tour buses throughout
north america and europe, hugh and ben are finally ready to unleash
a unique improvised mayhem on unsuspecting ears. drawing on their
shared interests in acoustic and electronic sounds, string instruments,
noisy little boxes that go “shnor;lkjsdfietrljsd!” and red wine, they
will create soundscapes and grooves unlike anything else. at times
reminiscent of the heavy, funk-soaked grooves of arvo pärt and
györgy ligeti, or the delicate, subtle shifting soundscapes of
frank zappa and die antwoord, hugh and ben will transport you
to a beautiful world in which george clinton and arnold schoenberg's
love children can live in peace at last under a black metal sun...

. GENERAL CHAOS VISUALS . Stephen Lindsey and Eric Siegerman,
will use light and shadow as brushes to paint the room with swirling
textures and patterns flying in the fog.

and live at THE AMBiENT PiNG by dreamSTATE and Heiki Sillaste,
"The North Shore" sonically evokes the Canadian winters of their
lifetimes - travels through white fields and deep woods, along
frozen rivers and by the shorelines of great lakes.
