Re: mixing & mastering

Hey y'all,

I was wondering how you go about mixing & mastering your live performances?

All mixing done live.
Usually recorded at the desk.
I don't use reverb live...apart from that which the venue provides "for
free".

Mastering: Re-create the reverb of the venue using Audition's "Echo
Chamber".
EQ
Check on alternate speakers and re-EQ if needed.
Normalize to 96%.

A technique you might find useful:

Record un-looped audio to separate track, alongside the mix.
It's then possible to re-create the looping and mix in a DAW.
(after editing out any unwanted notes)
