Hey Jeff.

If it's not usable the way it is, you might want to try refreshing to factory defaults. Not sure it's for the exact model you have, but a PDF manual that may apply says: "You can reset all parameters to their factory defaults by holding down the Parameters button when you power up".* I also looked and found a table of one-digit error codes on p 297 of the same manual, but they only go up to 6 (checksum error). Regardless, when I buy or trade used equipment, I've found resetting to factory settings frequently clears up problems if I'm willing to lose any settings or clips I have stored.
