Other than the fact that thicker strings at lower pitches have a little 
more latency in the tracking, Ive used a GK pickup on a baritone scale 
lengths of between 27 and 28 inches at various times.  Im currently using 
a GK with the Antares ATG-1 auto tune processor which is most amazing and 
tracks very well. Even with my ancient mothballed GK-2A pickup
