They use Intel's Extensible Firmware Interface

which as far as I know is only supported by Windows Server 2003 and
Windows XP 64-bit Edition (Itanium)

But of course Windows XP 64-bit Edition (Itanium) won't run on the
Core Duo processor in the IntelMacs.
