In the mass chaos that ensued, there are surely multiple (and  
contradictory) reports of all kinds of things.  It's tough enough to  
sort out the conflicting eye-witness reports of something as  
seemingly simple as a robbery or a car accident. I can't imagine  
trying to sort through all of the reports following the explosions  
and collapse of the towers.
