Bob can help you with this.

You have to have your machine configured properly to do the upgrade.
He's helped me with it in the past.
The new versions of software have fixed so many bugs so you really
should upgrade.     Midi, specifically, has been worked on extensively 
if I'm not mistaken.

I don't use it much so I'm not that knowledgeable about it, but my 
brother does constantly
with a computer and hardware interface that is very sophisticated and 
needs constant
sync abilities.
