Some thoughts on the 32 vs 64 bit conflict and software upgrades vs
obsolete apps:

Mobius is in fact a crash-course in tape music á la Musique Concrête.
It allows you to do on a laptop what the chaps at IRCAM did by the
early sixties with audio tape, glue and a pair of scissors. Learning
these traditional tape music techniques is not a waste of time because
when having that knowledge behind your forehead you can easily get
going with any gear in the future. Yes, we do live in the
"press-a-button-see-what-it-does" era, but don't let that restrict
your creativity!
