Yes, I'm slowly, very slooowly getting there...
Just had to build a workaround to convert CC messages to program changes 
for the patches via MidiPipe (sweet tool, btw!).
I think this software stuff IS crazy: scripting in Mobius, wild audio 
routing in Mainstage, MidiPipe... If something screws up in half a year, 
I'm never gonna figure out what the heck went wrong... Oh, well...

Short remarks to your mails:
- Concerning post-fader, Sjaak: Well, my Mackie actually does have ALT3/4 
bus that is post-fader AND post-pan. ;-) I've used that very often with my 
Boss RC-50 this way. But you're right, as long as CPU doesn't hurt. It's 
good to be flexible. :-)
- copying all the control bindings as well, Per: Well, I find actually 
Sjaak's approach more elegant for my purpose. This way, currently, all 
midi controls are on concert level.
- Gain plugin, Per: Nice idea, very useful, indeed.

Anyway, I think it will take a looong while till Mobius + Mainstage are 
doing what they're supposed to do...
