Re: Apogee Duet

Hi Chris

my impression is that Apogee Duet is supreme for recording (if you're ok
with Mac-only and break-out cable concept), but for live looping
performance, I'd probably prefer the Motu Ultralite.

See this for details:
http://www.gearslutz.com/board/low-end-theory/334049-new-motu-ultralite-mk3-vs-apogee-duet.html

Duet:
+Sound quality (in and out)
+Elegant, simple design
+The Apogee brand
-Only 2in/2out
-Closed system (can't upgrade at later stage)

Ultralite MK3:
+/-Sound quality
+Comprehensive routing options
+Expandable
-Paying for DSP effects I probably won't use
-Possibly complex to set up and operate (Cuemix vs Maestro)

best regards
Buzap
